Registration
When does registration open?
Early phase opens on [date]. You'll get a notification if you joined the waitlist.
Can I change category after registering?
Yes, category swaps are possible until 30 days before the event, subject to availability and price differences.
Is there a refund if I can't attend?
Bib transfers to another runner allowed up to 15 days before. No cash refunds, but credit toward the next edition (terms apply).
Course & safety
What is the maximum altitude?
3,040 m above sea level.
What if the weather is very bad?
The organization reserves the right to modify the course or delay the start due to safety conditions (lightning, dense fog, etc.). Decisions are communicated via WhatsApp and the website.
Are there cutoff times?
Yes: 3h at km 10 (transition) and 6h total for the 20K. For 10K and relay, cutoff is 3h.
Logistics
Where are kits picked up?
The day before the event (Saturday) in Cucunubá's town center, from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. Also race day from 5:00 a.m.
Is there accommodation in Cucunubá?
Yes. Cucunubá has rural lodging and heritage homes. We have partnerships with local lodgings offering runner rates (list published closer to event date).
Can I commute the same day from Bogotá?
It's feasible (90 min drive), but we recommend at least one night before for acclimatization.

Does this race count for ITRA?
ITRA validation for 2026 is pending confirmation. We will announce official status before registration opens.
